After having seen so many different parts of Latin America and meeting lovely people, I felt like nothing could still impressive me that much as Rio de Janeiro did it!

TO BE A VOLUNTEER #6 –My Olympic Tickets for some events Part II – Estádio do Maracanã women´s and men´s finals.
The next event I have been was the women’s final in football. Fortunately Germany was playing against Sweden! Daniel, the boss of ITK asked me if I want to see that match because he one ticket left.
TO BE A VOLUNTEER #5 –My Olympic Tickets for some events Part I :)
Next to my volunteer job I was at some events of the the Olympic Games. Josi and I bought some tickets for beach volleyball. Fortunately we saw Germany vs. Swiss and Brazil vs. Russia :). The perfect mix for me! The atmosphere was very nice but sometimes very strange. The Brazilian spectators were really mean.

Day 12
After speaking with my team leader she understood me and explained some thoughts of her. In the end I was allowed to work in the tribune zone where more things are going on compare to the workroom :).
TO BE A VOLUNTEER #3 –It´s getting more interesting!
DAY 7
Today was my best day because I had the chance to go into the tribune to be responsible for the reportes who commentates the fights. Actually the work isn’t again one of the best but I had the chance to see all of the fights. That was pretty amazing because there was the first official knock out 🙂

After all the different interviews with Alumni from ITK we met Ingo Hahne from MDR (German TV Channel) with his Assistent Leo. He was interested in our story, my volunteer role at the Olympic Games and the project we did. He picked us up with his amazing bus where normally a lot of German Athletes got interviewed :).

Ceres
Ceres invited us to her place because it´s much easier to meet us there. Sao Paulo is so big that this was the best option. Before the interview we had a nice talk and did some exchanges of our experiences. Here is what I got to know about Ceres 🙂

To be a volunteer at the Olympic Games in Rio you had to apply 1,5 years before. Actually I was shocked that I have to apply so early, but later I understood what kind of organisation it is and that 1,5 years before is alright, because they needed more than 70000 volunteers to be chosen!
